Let’s face it, we don’t know what the Cold and Flu season months have in store. But we’re making small changes now, that we hope will better serve us all as we move forward into the melancholy months ahead.
We’ve already implemented some changes and will continue to tweak those changes as necessary, as well as, rolling out more changes in the following weeks.
Effective September 8th, follow-up office visits and sick visits will be with Christina, our new Physician Assistant – Certified. Many of you may have already met her, or if not, more than likely spoken with her.
This small change will allow us to handle a potentially busy cold and flu season.
Telemedicine appointments will now be available to book online. At this time all Telemedicine appointments will be with Dr. Swamy.
As many of you already know, we’ve implemented changes to our in-office procedures in response to the public health emergency.
We screen every in-office appointment via our online form or by phone, approximately 36-48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. And we are rescheduling appointments when necessary.
In addition, we’re using our Covid-19 Screener form as first step to Contact-Less Check-In. There is a file upload option depending on whether you are a New or Established patient. We’re of the opinion big differences are made in small steps.
Facial Coverings must be worn in our office, as well as, all areas of our building – including all public areas – per management and common sense 😉
In the next few weeks we will begin rolling out our patient portal. So expect an update sooner rather than later.
We’ll also be posting other updates, helpful information, + fun little bytes of riveting trivia but we promise not to waste your time (or ours)!
